Sentence Being Served for
Sexual Assault with Use of Force – Felony C.

Sentencing took place June 26, 2020 in the Waukesha County Courthouse, Waukesha, Wisconsin.

David Scott Scharlat, a.k.a. “Fed,” was sentenced to four years’ prison with three years’ probation. However, that sentence was stayed for five years of probation commencing with nine months of jail time, two months in Waukesha County Huber Facility and one month stayed.

C.Kimberly Toms wishes to recognize the journey of all of Fed’s victims, beyond the three who spoke out. At sentencing, “20 women” were confirmed as having been identified by the U.S. Department of State. FIVE instances of the defendant video “watching” and/or recording women were found in the defendant’s State Department email by the U.S. Department of State.
