My advocacy work focuses on public awareness, legislative engagement, and survivor-centered representation related to violent crime, digital exploitation, and justice system accountability.
This work is grounded in lived experience, but it is executed through structured, public-facing efforts that include legislative briefings, media engagement, institutional collaboration, and long-form narrative work. The emphasis is on accuracy, responsibility, and outcomes rather than personal storytelling or visibility.
Over the past year, this advocacy has expanded to include direct engagement with policymakers, national organizations, media platforms, and educational institutions. The work represented here reflects sustained participation and contribution, not symbolic involvement.
Policy education, briefings, and survivor-informed advocacy
Engagement with federal lawmakers and staff to support legislation addressing digital exploitation, harassment, and survivor protections. This has included in-person meetings in Washington, DC with multiple Senate offices in support of the Take It Down Act and related initiatives.
Public-facing representation and campaign participation
Participation in national advocacy efforts in collaboration with organizations such as RAINN, including representation in campaign visuals and content intended to raise awareness and support survivors at scale.
Podcast, press, and long-form narrative engagement
Regular participation as a podcast guest and contributor addressing issues related to violent crime, survivor rights, and justice system navigation. Emphasis on responsible framing, accuracy, and public education rather than commentary.
Narrative work addressing justice system realities
Creator and director of Escaping Fed, a feature-length advocacy documentary depicting the realities of navigating the American justice system from a survivor’s point of view. The film has received recognition at three film festivals and is also represented within Creative Direction for its narrative and production leadership.
Briefings and presentations for institutional audiences
Delivery of presentations and briefings to lawmakers, federal law enforcement, advocacy organizations, and college-based audiences, including criminal justice and legal studies programs. These engagements focus on policy implications, systemic gaps, and survivor-informed perspectives.
Organizational leadership and platform development
Advisory CEO of a survivor-oriented social enterprise focused on connecting crime victims with journalists, advocates, and platforms equipped to responsibly amplify stories and support public understanding.
Examples included on this page reflect advocacy outcomes and participation rather than personal narrative. They are presented to document scope, contribution, and impact.
