Kimberly was selected and sponsored by a national advocacy organization to participate in federal legislative engagement focused on strengthening protections for survivors of gender-based and sexual violence.
She conducted in-person meetings with six U.S. Senate offices across the Capitol complex, advocating for stronger survivor protections and the advancement of specific legislative measures. Her engagement centered on translating lived experience into policy-relevant insight and urging action on stalled or under-prioritized legislation.
